Amy Hellebuyck Joins Identity

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich., October 26, 2011 – Amy Hellebuyck has joined Bingham Farms, Mich.-based Identity Marketing & Public Relations as an account manager. Managing Partner Mark Winter made the announcement.
In this role, Hellebuyck will be responsible for developing strategic communications programs and executing effective media relations for clients in the automotive, professional services and real estate industries.
She comes to Identity with extensive experience in the agency, corporate and non-profit sectors. Most recently, she served as communications specialist for Plymouth, Mich.-based Freudenberg-NOK.
Prior to that, Hellebuyck was marketing communications manager for Learning Care Group, the second largest early education provider in the U.S. There, she was responsible for public relations and crisis management efforts for more than 1,100 schools across the country.
Hellebuyck began her career with another Southeast Michigan public relations agency where she spent seven years working on various automotive related accounts including TRW, IBM and the Automotive Industry Action Group.
She graduated with honors from Wayne State University in Detroit with a bachelor’s degree in communications and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
