I have seen more great examples of Paying It Forward in recent months than I have seen in the last 10 years combined.
Paying it foward simply means giving…. without expectation of anything coming back in return.
Paying it forward applys to much more than Toys for Tots, Holiday donations and monetary gifts. And for those
who consistantly practice it…it becomes an important part of their identity. And you will see that even in tough times, they continue to thrive.
At a time when even the best client relationships are difficult to maintain…and new client relationships are nearly impossible to find and lock…Paying It Forward can be a differentiator.
For an attorney…it may be counsel. For a retailer, it may be product. For a PR professional, it may be a placement. For a builder,
it may be a design. It’s important to remember that Paying it Forward is a process…not an event. It should not be forced or it will appear to be fake and insincere.
If done right….consistently….confidently….and with passion….it will pay off!
