CitrinGroup Relocates to Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Mich., July 26, 2010—CitrinGroup, an investment advisory firm specializing in portfolio management, announced today that it is moving from its Southfield location to a new office space in Birmingham, Mich., located at 280 N Old Woodward, Suite 206, Birmingham, MI 48009. Jonathan Citrin, Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of CitrinGroup, made the announcement.

The 1,600-square-foot office space will feature state-of-the-art technology, a large conference room to accommodate client meetings and individual office spaces for the firm’s employees.

“We are thrilled to join the vibrant Birmingham business community,” said Citrin. “The new office space will allow us to accommodate clients more comfortably and work more efficiently. We look forward to inviting our clients to our new space and connecting with local businesses in the area.”

CitrinGroup is schedule to be moved into the new office space by mid-August 2010.

Castle, Meinhold & Stawiarski Collaborate with State of Colorado on New Expedited Foreclosure Sale on Abandoned Properties Legislation

DENVER, CO., May 4, 2010 — Castle Meinhold & Stawiarski, LLC, a provider of high-quality legal representation, focusing on commercial, foreclosure, bankruptcy and mortgage-related litigation, is pleased to announce that the new expedited foreclosure process for abandoned properties legislation, which the firm had been working on with the Governor’s policy office and public trustee association for months, has been signed into law. Castle, Meinhold & Stawiarski Partner Caren Castle made the announcement.

The Bill, known as HB 10-1249, was signed by Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. on April 29, 2010 and will take effect August 1st of this year. Castle, Meinhold & Stawiarski worked diligently with the state on developing the proposed process in order to expedite foreclosure sales on abandoned properties. The new legislation enables the holder of a loan to seek an expedited foreclosure sale (45-65 days from the date the Notice of Election and Demand is recorded) on vacant and abandoned properties. This drastically reduces the current time frame of 110-125 days.

“This is an important Bill for Colorado,” stated Castle. “Shortening the time frame on the sale of abandoned properties helps to reduce blight, sustains home values and benefits us all. We are honored to have played an active role in the development of this legislation.”

CitrinGroup and Maddin Hauser to Offer Complimentary Foundation Management Seminar

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 30, 2009 — Southfield, Mich.-based CitrinGroup, an investment planning firm specializing in portfolio management, and Southfield-based Maddin, Hauser, Wartell, Roth & Heller, P.C. will hold a complimentary seminar entitled “Foundation Management: How to Make the Most of Investments and Engage Members in Today’s Economy.” The seminar will take place at The Community House in Birmingham, Mich. on Tuesday, July 14 at 7:30 a.m.

Jonathan Citrin, CEO of CitrinGroup, and Ron Sollish, attorney at Maddin Hauser, will host the seminar. The presentation will focus on advising foundation decision-makers on the best money management and operational practices amidst a tough economy.
