Trott Financial Center’s Annual Local Food Fair a Success

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., October 23, 2012 – Trott & Trott, P.C., NDeX Michigan, Attorneys Title Agency (ATA) and REDICO Management, Inc. partnered to host the successful fourth annual Local Food Fair on Friday, Oct. 19 at the Trott Financial Center in Farmington Hills, Mich. Trott & Trott Title Specialist and Environmental Committee member Kendra Komp made the announcement.
The event featured 14 local merchants, including farmers, grocers and retailers, who advocated on the benefits of buying local and regional goods, and also provided Trott, NDeX and ATA employees with the opportunity to sample and purchase Michigan products. To further embrace the environmentally-friendly theme, attendees were provided with recyclable shopping bags decorated by the children at Bright Horizons, a community childcare facility with a location in the Trott Financial Center.
“This year’s food fair was a complete success,” Komp said. “It continues to grow in popularity amongst our employees and local businesses, and we are proud to offer a venue that supports our local economy and a more sustainable work environment.”
This year’s food fair vendors included Chazzano Coffee Roasters, Cherry Republic, Concrete Cuisine, DeYoung’s Fore Seasons, Good People Popcorn, Grassfields Cheese, Great Harvest Bread Company, Iceni Tea, Jacques Tacos, Jem Fruit/Margo’s Nutz, Peteet’s Famous Cheesecakes, Sansonetti Sauces, Simply Suzanne Granola and Treat Dreams.
The Local Food Fair is an extension of the ongoing environmental initiatives of Trott and NDeX, which includes annual Earth Day celebrations and year-round recycling campaigns.
