Oliver Higgs

Editorial Director

As Identity’s Editorial Director, Oliver develops creative concepts, generates compelling content and collateral materials, and crafts articles for publications that promote and enhance PR initiatives for the firm’s clients. He writes on a wide variety of topics—from commercial real estate to cyber security, and evolving lifestyle trends to emerging technologies. His portfolio includes everything from taglines and headlines, to bylines, blogs and bios.

Oliver’s passion for reading and telling great stories began at an early age, when, as a third grader, he would regularly check out the maximum allowable limit of 15 books every two weeks from the local public library—despite skeptical looks from the librarians.

Oliver is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English. He has been a member of the Identity team since 2006.

He still spends a lot of his free time reading, and he also loves going to the movies, listening to great podcasts and watching stand-up comedy. He enjoys swimming, plays basketball and squash, and coaches little league baseball and youth soccer. He can be found cheering on the UNC Tar Heels in pretty much any sport you can think of.

He has lived in Cairo, Egypt and traveled extensively across Europe, Asia and Africa. Today he lives outside Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, Amanda, their two very good dogs, and their two moderately good sons.
