Alex Macksoud

Senior Manager, Digital Content

Working as the Senior Manager, Digital Content at Identity, Alex Macksoud is responsible for communicating great stories while keeping up with the never-ending need for client content. His day-to-day responsibilities include writing punchy, creative and search-optimized content, managing website creation projects, implementing Google and social advertising campaigns and driving digital strategies.

Alex’s foray into content writing began in kindergarten, where he would write and illustrate books about going to Disneyland. From there, his passions were intensified in Mr. Griffin’s creative writing class at Detroit Catholic Central High School, and later in Doug Berry’s advertising classes and Jeffrey Bean’s creative writing class at Central Michigan University.

While attending CMU, Alex completed multiple social media and content creation internships and held more than half a dozen executive positions in student organizations ranging from the American Marketing Association to the Student Government Association. He graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Advertising and Marketing.

As a hobby, Alex enjoys entertaining people by performing improv, writing sketch comedy and acting at local theaters in metro-Detroit.  He is also an avid nature enthusiast and traveler—having been to Iceland three times, among several other countries.
