GENERATING VISIBILITY AND COMMUNITY AWARENESS FOR SACHSE CONSTRUCTION’S 25th ANNIVERSARY AND CONSTRUCTION ACADEMY

Our Approach

Sachse Construction entrusted in Identity to compile a collection of strong campaign ideas to announce the construction management firm’s 25th anniversary to the public. Sachse landed on executing a “Construction Academy” in partnership with Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan. Identity recommended the construction academy event as a way to celebrate Sachse’s anniversary in a visual and compelling way, while giving back to the local Detroit community. The one-day event allowed 500 students from 12 different high schools across Metro Detroit the opportunity to experience 37 various skilled trades demonstrations from 27 companies across the State of Michigan.

Through strategic media outreach, Identity secured on-site and post-event media coverage that enhanced the Construction Academy’s local and national visibility. During the event, Identity secured a Detroit News photographer and a camera crew with TV segments highlighting the Construction Academy running on WXYZ and WJBK. After the event, we secured a national expert source article with Construction Today to highlight the need to educate young professionals in the skilled trades as a viable career path through strategic initiatives, such as the Sachse Construction Academy.

Due to our ability to generate fresh campaign ideas and provide strategic media outreach and management, Sachse received positive feedback on the success of the Construction Academy from vendors, student participants, high school teachers, as well as Junior Achievement and Lisa Howze, Director of Governmental Affairs from Detroit Mayor Mike Duggans office.
