Creating a Brand and Buzz for the 16th Annual Oakland County Bar Foundation Signature Event

Identity efforts led to record-breaking success.

Our Approach

The Oakland County Bar Foundation (OCBF) holds an Annual Signature Event that benefits Michigan-based law-related charitable causes. Identity crafted event materials that had a fresh new look and feel that better embodied the sophisticated event. These materials included an invitation package that was comprised of envelopes, reply cards and event tickets. We also created an online invitation, on-site print materials, and a video to inform attendees of the programs that were supported and highlight the event sponsors.

Through strategic media outreach, Identity secured pre- and post-event coverage that enhanced the nonprofit’s visibility. Leading up to the event, Identity secured high-profile interviews with the OCBF President in local daily, legal and business publications, including Detroit Legal News, The Oakland Press and a Meet the Boss feature with the Detroit Free Press. Identity also submitted him for the Michigan Lawyers Weekly award, through which he was recognized among the state’s leading legal professionals.

Due to strategic media outreach and artful event materials, Identity’s efforts led to a successful event that raised a record-breaking $200,000.
