I agree he&#039;s positioned himself on one side of the debate, but I&#039;m still wondering about the company....and whether, if true, it&#039;s a good or bad thing. 		<description>I&#039;ve said this before. Whole Foods is a publicly-traded company and the editorial needs to be viewed in that arena as well. If a CUSTOMER chooses to boycott the store for whatever reason it is his/her choice.  Now, take a look at Mr Mackey&#039;s performance as a CEO from an investors point-of-view.  Totally different scenario.  Would an IR consultant be reviewing the crisis communications plan with senior executives... you betcha!  Whether I personally agree/disagree with the CEO&#039;s editorial is irrelevant; because of his op-ed he has positioned not only himself but the entire company (and everyone who works there) on one side of the debate.</description>
